Handicraft

Unleash your creativity and craftsmanship at the Handicraft program area, nestled within the inspiring Sadorus shelter, conveniently located next to the pool. This artistic haven invites Scouts to delve into a world of hands-on crafting and design, where imagination meets skill.

Our diverse range of programs includes leatherwork, woodwork, basketry, woodcarving, metalwork, and art, each offering a unique opportunity to develop new talents and create lasting mementos. Under the guidance of our experienced counselors, Scouts learn the intricacies of these crafts, transforming raw materials into intricate and functional works of art.

The Handicraft area is more than just a place to learn; it's a space where Scouts can express their individuality and gain confidence in their artistic abilities. Whether it's carving a piece of wood, weaving a basket, molding leather, or exploring metalwork, each activity is designed to enhance both technical skills and creative thinking.

In addition to scheduled classes, we offer an 'Open Handicraft' session from 4 to 5 pm, providing Scouts with the freedom to work on personal projects or continue developing their newfound skills. This is a time for exploration, experimentation, and personal growth.

Step into the Handicraft area at the Sadorus shelter and embark on a journey of artistic exploration. Here, every Scout has the chance to build not just crafts, but also memories and skills that will last a lifetime.
